This is my reaction too. He was certainly willing to TAKE the shot, but it didn't always lead to the right play or winning play. Honestly, I preferred then, and prefer now, the ball in Gilly's hands.

We need Crabtree to step up front!!

Crabtree looked a little tentative last night (understandable since it was his first game in a while) but he did a good job of keeping the offense moving. Would like him to shoot more. I thought Wilson was far and away the best sub yesterday though. He was our best on ball defender when on the floor

It was mentioned somewhere. I was surprised when I saw it and it definitely wasn’t effective. I was at the game, so find it hard to keep track of durations and substitution patterns, but it did not seem like it lasted very long in real time.

One question about missing Francis, is who is going to create the shot on this team when time is running out. Francis was the dagger man when it came to creating a shot. I don't see anyone currently I would say fits that mold except possibly Burton.

Better team without him. Was the dagger to us as often as the opponent. Poor judgment. FG percentage among worst on team. Wish him the best in the G League though.

I think the Spiders have plenty of options to fill in for Francis. Maybe there isn’t one player that replaces exactly what he brought to the team, but I don’t feel like there is anything missing. Fortunately, we did not have a need for a “closer” in this game although it seemed like we might for a portion of the game. I agree with others that if we have the need for a crunch time shot, it is going to fall to Burton or Gilly.

Going to give Mooney an A- on this press conference. He summed it up accurately and gave the team some constructive criticism, which I do not recall hearing before. Docked him some due to the cliche fest on the opponents, which is the typical standard fare.
