Nc central predictions/game

I think against a team of this caliber and with the returning talent we have, it’ll be tough to look good and only win by 10.
Hoping this is a non-stress game, heavy rotation second half.
Get rid of the practice facility and practice shooting on the game floor more I guess.
Biggest take away is our lack of athleticism and emphasis on D. As expected. We should end up winning this by plenty, but Mooney being Mooney. Terrible duo with Grace and Golden. Saw a high rebound and both drilled to the floor. cmon man.
Things just looking the same as ever with Mooney (and with this group - but Mooney has been at for longer so I'd put it on him.)
Not very good defense, zero physicality/toughness on either end and an overall opening game malaise. I assume we'll probably get our sh_t together enough to win this still, but its just so discouraging to see the same things as ever!

I will have to have a big laugh if four 7 year seniors from the greatest class ever lose the first game of the season to NC Central… the 343 eanked team in the country at home. Lol

Just don’t think this is accurate at all. I’m watching on tv so maybe things look different at the arena, but it’s not like every 3 they’re making is an open shot
Given the pace we play at (and its NC Central for gosh sakes) 36 is bad as a statistic for points against and watching it just confirms that it is bad!
You can't be serious. They have hit 8 3s and are 2 for 2 in the second half with a dunk and layup.
It is probably too soon to pass judgment on this team, just yet.

Agreed I don’t want to give up 36 in a half. But when the other team is shooting >50% from three at halftime with 8 makes, I don’t think giving up 36 is too bad. And now we see their shooting has regressed to the mean a bit to start the half
The whole first half was ridiculous. Now the team has shown up. With all this talent we shouldn't have even been down the whole first half. That is coaching. Glad they figured it out. Mooney gets a free pass on this one. As usual.
The concern isn't just attached to one half of a game. We tend to make teams look good shooting threes. This happens all the time and to think its coincidence is just looking with rose colored glasses - - - teams shoot well against us because we don't defend well! Last year we were 263 rd in the country in defensive FG%. 263rd!!!!
