Confirmation of just how close we are to a title game appearance one day soon.
This seems to be the year for last-minute, dramatic UVA victories in the NCAA tournament.
When you have two semi-finalists on your schedule, and should have beaten one of them but had too many miscues, it definitely shows we are on the right track.
If you review our full tourney game v Duke,there is much for us to improve.Our zone D v Duke shut them down offensively.Correcting our many unforced errors and errand passing in the Duke tourney game plus adding the faceoff recruit Will Bou from Landon plus playing HPU,AFA and JAX at home next season should put us in at least the Top 15.
Looking forward to AFA visiting the Brickhouse to see what happens to their player that hit our #45 with a sucker shot in the playoffs this season.

We were under-seeded in the NCAA tourney when you compare us directly to the artificially higher seeds of West Point, Robert Morris and Georgetown
Looking forward to AFA visiting the Brickhouse to see what happens to their player that hit our #45 with a sucker shot in the playoffs this season.

Lack of faceoff wins and failure to clear thwarted our effort against the Hoos and Duke. No doubt Chemotti is well aware of those weaknesses. The new faceoff recruit and continued attention to protecting the ball will help us next season.
I think we all can agree, we have the coach and foundation to continue to be a team that is going to
continue to be relevant on the national scene.
Agree. Any significant improvement in face-offs will certainly lead to more offensive possessions and W's. But we have to fix TO problems that have plagued us season after season. Can't give any team especially powerhouse like Duke extra opportunities, which ultimately wears down our defense.
UVA has more national titles this century then wins vs VT in football during the same time frame.
