W&M was 10-23 last season. Has a new coach. Is 4-6 this year and they are 2.5 point favorites against us?
Going positive on this one. Spiders show up as a new team and shoot absolutely lights out tonight. Roche hits 5 threes. Tyne, Neskovic, Apostolos each hit multiple threes tonight. We jump out to a 25 point lead. 2nd half - we let W&M get slightly back into the game as they cut the lead to 14, but DLO takes over and UR wins by 20.

We're going to finish about .500 in the A10 somehow. I have no idea how but we've seen this movie before. I can only hope that we get a win against vcu that ends up keeping them out of the tournament.

I’m 25 minutes away but have such great memories of concerts at the No Hassell Hall I don’t want to ruin them with watching Mooneyocrity.

Officially the worst announcers until we inevitably have to listen to the Fordham guys at some point.... and yes obviously illegal stream is the only play tonight. Trying to sync up the Richmond audio but its currently three seconds ahead LOL.
Tyne keeps falling asleep and leaving #7 wide open from three. It's happened 3 times in the first 11 minutes of the game.
I think they likely were shown some film and told that if they didn't match W&M's energy tonight they were gonna get blown off the court cause its clear the tempo is pretty quick tonight. I actually... outside of the Charlotte game... haven't been too terribly upset with the effort this year. Not sure why Graham doesn't get more playing time, but outside of that I think these guys at least seem pretty invested. I was really surprised by Walz's comments the other night cause that's not what it appears to me outwardly. So perhaps that has something to do with it as well?
Pretty solid first 15 minutes of the half, but then let them right back into the game on three straight threes. It's never easy.

Refuse to FLO to watch so just the gamecast on ESPN. Its reassuring to know that we when we shot over 70% frrom the floor for 16+ minutes we are actually ahead. Now what are the odds we can shoot 70% again!
5 point W&M lead. I have Flo (yes I'm the contrarian but I like stuff they have on there other than college sports) so I'm watching this atrocity.
How in the hell are they getting totally outplayed on the press? If they can't beat W&M press how are they going to get past anyone in the A-10?

When it was clear that Texas was way too big and athletic for us on Sunday it took Roussell about five minutes to go zone and then outwardly admit he regretted not doing it sooner. Im just saying.

WTF - I saw that. Why does he do that? He's always done it - - - such a waste and lets them keep one they might have used anyway!
And lets recap. we are shooting 58%, 46% from 3, have 10 FT more than them and have only 6 turnovers in 30 minutes - - - yet we trail by 5. Mooney ball back in prime form!

God these announcers are awful. It's like listening to two people at the bar talking about the game watching on teh TV.
I've been listening to the game for about five minutes and it seems like WM has hit about eight threes in that span.
Its 100% that when Roche checks back in that he'll quick trigger a short, flat footed three. Obviously, I get that he's in there to shoot, but its usually early in the shot clock, right when he checks back in..... and always short..... and it typically buries us further.
Can't imagine he will be a Spider next year. If he can't crack this team, he should probably give up the sport altogether.
This what I despise about Mooney ball, can't consistently enforce defensive principals and all phases of the game. Most coaches would be beside themselves for such a breakdown. But moon just hopes we hit another 3.
