I know that many thought it wrong to discontinue soccer, but, in truth, the lax program has provided more press and fan excitement in the first year than soccer did for the last 10 years.

That said, I would like to get soccer back, but do not see it happening because of the athletic scholarship to student population ratio and the need to keep the percentage down to the level of our peer institutions.

As for Chemotti, I believe that we will take care of him. I would hope that he has financial incentives in his contract for winning the conference and making the NCAA tournament.

Twitter shows that they have chartered a plane for the trip to Air Force...so Chemotti's got that going for him.

I think the NCAA helps with travel expenses for the team in a sanctioned championship tournament.
I doubt there was any other way to get the team, coaches, equipment, etc. to Colorado Springs for a
game tomorrow night, if the plane hadn't been chartered.
