If there was ever a clinic on how to lose a game, this was it. Epic flop.

Anyone want to defend this last 5 minutes from a coaching perspective? Lineup choices and the absurd timeout makes me nauseous and I am not a billboard guy
Maybe Dji could've helped earlier in the half? 🤔
LaSalle nothing special/pedestrian team. Wait till next week with much better competition - St L and VCU. Scheduled not much our friend. Disappointing game but not surprising.
Can't believe we are going to be a pillow fight team. So much wasted potential. Gonna go pour a stiff one.
How can anybody watch this garbage and not want to make a drastic change in the program?
Honestly, if you told Mooney "Hey, go try to lose as many close games as you possibly can this year," I question whether he would be able to do as good a job of it as he has so far.

The real fans know only home games count
VCU fans love Chris Mooney
& every team seems to hit a 3 on us late when down 5 or 6. yet dji & tyler go in for tough 2s. basically any team is looking to pop a 3 there. But the game was lost b4 that & is completely on Mooney with that terrible TO that was predictable in both occurring & then the result.
As mentioned Lasalle wasn't even very good. But that's validation on who we are.
Every game, I care a little less. Watched the UVA game while checking in on the Spiders because I knew how it would end. Mooney is SO predictable. He has no answers. He sucks.
Unbelievable to lose a game in which we had only 5 turnovers.

I would really like to see this discussed at some length. What is the reasoning behind this little trick that Moon obviously is so high on because he does it so often. WHY??
I think I have figured out Mooney's plan. We have entered into "the Process" like my 76ers did and are tanking to get a higher draft pick!
There is no one who will objectively discuss it. No reporters truly cover the team with any type of critical eye. So this stuff is just allowed to happen unchecked for 18 years.
No offense to players, but can’t understand how anyone can support this inept program. Mooney has driven the bus deep into despair and it will remain a pathetic reflection of his coaching until the AD has the balls to replace him.

The timing of the timeout was terrible. Very disappointing loss.
I so wanted this season to focus on the players potential and success and not our coach ..
The lineup of Quinn, Grace, Roche, Burton, and Gustavson should never see the light of day again. It was miserable.
Mooney's choices in the second half were awful, and he deserves a heaping chunk of criticism for this one. But so too do the players.
Burton with three awful turnovers at the end. Quinn with a critical missed FT. Missing wide open three pointers over and over again. Randolph's stupid technical. Failure to box guys out. Bad shot selection. It was a group failure today.

All of this is accurate, but as per usual, the coach is the one who dictates the style of play, the tempo of play, who plays and when. It all falls on him. There's nothing wrong with the talent of our players. It's not the most talented team in the league, but look at the teams that are in the top 4 and tell me the right coach couldn't have us there? I don't think you can.
Who actually thought we were winning tonight? Come on guys, you see who we have as coach. the Top 4 Seed post is looking worse and worse
Is there a worse team in the final 4 mins of games? I mean the bizarre timeouts, lack of running offense, open 3s for opponents, untimely turnovers, missed free throws, ect are all patterns and are not improving. We could be so much better with an administration that was serious about winning.
