@ LaSalle 01/22/2022

Here's LaSalle's 1-4 A10 performance to date. Impressive?
12/30/2021 Fordham L 61-69 Philadelphia, Pa.
1/8/2022 VCU L 66-85 Philadelphia, Pa.
1/11/2022 St. Bonaventure L 76-80 (OT) Philadelphia, Pa.
1/17/2022 at Saint Joseph's W 75-64 Philadelphia, Pa.

looks to me LaSalle may be trending upward
Did anything change the last 3 games? OT loss to SBU, 2 point loss to URI, decent margin over St Joe...
Before that they were bad not just below average.

They've been bringing Nickelberry and Ray off the bench and moved Brantley and Doucoure into the starting lineup their last few games...not sure why, but it corresponds to their improved play.

LaSalle 1-4 in conference after 2 point loss to Rhody on Wednesday in Kingston, R.I. where the Explorers scored 19 points in the second half after leading by 8 at halftime. Rhody our next opponent has 8 straight home wins.

Couple points follow:

RTD shows us a a 7 point favorite. Seems like a lot of points.

LaSalle averages 12 offensive rebounds which plays right into one of our weaknesses. Need to box out and be more aggressive on getting rebounds.

NBCSN the TV network is gone, but the NBC Sports app still exists.

Playing against a big, physical team is not the game for Sherod to get extended minutes. Would prefer Crabtree at the 3 since Burton is in foul trouble

Look at all the offensive rebounds LaS is getting which equates to second chance points. Maybe someone can introduce that part of the game to Mooney. Never too late to learn something new for a coach.

Can’t have Grace, Cayo, and Sherod as our 3 biggest guys out there if we want to rebound. Grace doesn’t rebound. Cayo isn’t especially good at it. Sherod is too small against a team starting 2 centers

Current lineup of Gilly, Golden, Goose, Grace and Randolph. Mooney is just throwing things at the wall right now with no plan lol.
