La Salle’s offense stinks so that helps

I listen to the post-game a bit. This show is a joke like the program. Shooting 3-19 from three isn't a winnable strategy.
I know it was LaSalle, but defense was better in 2nd half. Goose was all over the place. Very disruptive to LaSalle's offense. 3-19 from 3 is going to make it difficult to win unless you play solid defense. That's what we did today in the second half. Hope it continues.
Agree. But that kind of performance might work against poor to avg teams but not against top tier programs in A10.
That is true most of the time, but sometimes these kind of games can still build confidence to draw back upon.
Sal looked like he didnt belong on the floor, but agree with your other points. Hopefully he continues to improve in practice and is able to contribute next year.

Sal always seems to spin around, get past his man, but step on end line, then CM takes him out. Little
concerned Connor only got 2 minutes and went out for no apparent reason. Great seeing our freshman from
Philly getting some playing time in front of family.
Sal has twice as many turnovers (8) as he has buckets (4) this season. He just can’t seem to get it figured out, unfortunately.
Was happy to see Marcus in the game at the end of the first half. Too bad he didn’t get any second half action and that he had nothing to show on the stat sheet other than minutes played.
Thought during the game that he must have gotten some time because the game was in Philly and he would have local interest, but Mooney said during post game that Marcus was really showing great effort in practice. He definitely has looked ready in the few minutes he has played. Will be interesting to see if he sees the court on Tuesday.
Goose was incredible this game. His 5 steals has to be a career high. He was everywhere!
Agreed. Goose was definitely the player of the game. I think he played the type of game that Mooney was hoping Wilson would play, which is incredibly aggressive defense and knowing your role on offense (and that role being you are option 5 on the floor). Just a great game by Goose. He has earned the starting role.
I found it interesting that Sherod got so few minutes and loved that Mooney got Randolph some meaningful game minutes and frankly Sal as well (although Sal is completely lost out there right now).
