The young man deserves his own thread. What an outstanding season he has put together. Sure, he hasn't been perfect, made a few mistakes along the way, but what quarterback hasn't? His stats:

Passing efficiency: 150.9 Now, I don't really understand this statistic very well, but it seems like anything over 120 for the season is extremely good, so 150.9 must be outstanding.

Passing: 199-318-10, 2912 yards, 17 td's, average per game 264.7

Rushing: 218 yards, 5 td's

As the season progressed, he really became a leader out there, recognizing defenses, changing plays at the line of scrimmage. I really thought Kyle would be a great Spider quarterback, but he definitely exceeded my (and many others) expectations.

And he's only a sophomore.....

He is the key going forward. Teams will see the UNH game and mold their game plan around stopping Jacobi and making Lauletta beat them. He has the tools and WRs to, so this should be a fun playoffs

Assuming Vad Lee is given 1st team All CAA QB despite his injury, Kyle has to be 2nd Teamer, right? Not bad for a Soph.

The 3rd down play where KL ran for the first down was very impressive. He looked quick at the receivers and then made the smart play to run it. That he happened to get a first down was amazing. You can really see the development. I realize it helps having green, brown, Diggs, etc. but KL has been fun to watch.

I think Kyle's work at the line of scrimmage and his decision making for the most part have been outstanding for a first year starter. He is a great leader and excellent athlete who can run and pass. I think the coaching staff realized after the Coastal game last year we need a dual threat QB who had some flexibility at the line to change plays. He will only get better. Kudos to Coach Fisher for his play calls and handling of a first year starting QB.
