Shot blocker inside has taken Cayo out of game. Where is Burton? We can win this if we can just make a few 3s. Gilyard and Francis both due in the 2nd half.

Yes, Goose looking great. Sal is really struggling to guard or even catch the ball.
Our defense has been terrific. Holding the 10th ranked team to 32 points at half on their home court.
We are OK going into the 2nd half. Golden and Burton should be fresh and at some point our shots will fall. We got a shot at taking UK down.

I think you’re going to be really frustrated this whole year if you don’t like Blake taking lots of shots...
not our best half for sure. Our guards needs to be much better. Better shot selection and make the good shots. I’d have bet we would be blown out if you told me what Blake and Jacob had done in first half. If they can just settle in and let the game come to them, we should be right there til the end.

I don’t like anybody taking BAD shots. If you’re wide open 20 times and miss them all, that happens. When you force bad shots, especially early in the shot clock, I’m going to scream at the top of my lungs. I don’t really want to argue since we disagree, but just explain my thought process here. I don’t subscribe to the thought process that every shot Francis takes is good because it’s him shooting. He isn’t some all-world special shooter, he’s good for the A-10, but on a team like Kentucky he’s not sniffing the court with this low of a basketball IQ. You think Cal would let one player single-handedly shoot them out of a game? Hell no
Every single time UK drives to the basket they call a foul. UnFing believable.
Doesn’t help that the announcer is creaming his pants everytime Kentucky draws a “foul”
Use Sal to give some fouls. They’re not hitting free throws at a high rate.

That was a WIDE OPEN IN RHYTHM Three. That is a GREAT shot. Do you really see no difference between that and the others? I have no problem with someone taking great shots, even if they’ve been missing. But bad shots when you’re cold is no way for me

This officiating is a joke. They’re looking for any excuse to blow the whistle for them and they are swallow the whistle like it’s Coach Cal’s load right now. Terrible officiating
