Has the Brooklyn Nets on a 5 game winning streak and leading LeBron's Lakers in the 4th quarter tonight. I don't really follow the NBA but love to seeing a Spider having success at the highest level.

Make it 6 game win streak. The original KA has more basketball love and mojo in his little finger than Moon has in his existence.
Did I tell you about the time I was a freshman playing in the carpet gym. Ended up on Atkinson's team and got lucky and knocked down a few long shots in a row - which led to KA calling me "Money" for the rest of the game. Enough about me though

How about when we were in NCAA met Duke in the first round, they had been booted early the prior year and were a team on a mission. Story I hear is halftime in the locker room KA went ballistic because he thought the team was giving up.
Yes, fan1, remember that game. Remember screaming at the TV that Hurley was fouling the crap out of KA all game. KA was a flat out gamer. His Love of the game quotient is about 11 on a scale of 1-10.
I will always remember KA's 3 pt buzzer-beater against Kendrick Warren and VCU at the Coliseum. Classic!
I remember the horn going off as the ball was in the air! Almost a half court ..shot!
I always remember the one against Phil Stinnie in the TDIT December 18, 1987.
All of the VCU bench was jumping up in down...until they saw it go in
We did win December 28, 1991 at the coliseum against Warren. But KA had graduated that was SR Blair, and SO Wood

Man, I loved that team. They were so po'd when they got back. And yeah, that was KA's last game in a Spider uniform. Gotta think the sting from that exit had some influence on what happened the following year.
They played 4 ACC teams in 89-90, plus VA Tech. Now that was some OOC scheduling. The KA vs Bimbo Coles battle in the RC is one of my all time favorites. They were just trading haymakers and for a stretch it even seemed they were just playing one-on-one.
Back to that Duke game - Duke went to the finals that year; they were really good. The two participants in that game both pulled off historic upsets the following season. UR's first #15 seed over Syracuse, of course. Also that was the year Duke ended undefeated UNLV's epic win streak in the Final Four. Yeah, Duke was a 2 seed but they were massive underdogs to the Runnin' Rebels.
