I am pretty sure we don't want our bigs hoisting up 3 pointers at inopportune times. Both Terry Allen and tj did it and they were a combined 2 for 9. TA threw one up at an inopportune time la5e in the game that gave ASU the ball.

TJ Cline is our 2nd best 3 pt. shooter, .1% behind K0 who is #1 (39.3% vs. 39.2%). As far as I'm concerned, he should shoot the 3 any time he's open and feeling it.

(Actually Zack Chu is statistically the best 3 pt shooter at 50%, but he's only got 2 attempts this year.)

Yesterday's game was an awesome battle, and a great win for the Spiders. With all the positives to take away from the game, why find something negative to pick on?

the philosophy has pretty much always been, if you are open from three, take it, no matter who you are.

X2

TJ is usually quite reliable from 3 point land. Last night he missed a few 3's, but everything else he did was great. As far as I'm concerned, he should have the green light always from 3 point line.

The other bigs are not the shooters TJ is.

T.J. was 8th in the A-10 in 3 point percentage for the year. He can hoist it any time he's open, IMO

TA needs to shoot a 3 every now and then to keep defender honest so he can take them to the basket. TJ is a good shooter and can take a 3 anytime. DT, TD, And ANO should never take a three. It's just a turnover.

ANO actually has a decent stroke, I don't mind him taking a three, but would agree that both DT and TD should look to drive unless there's absolutely nothing there. In fact, I wish they did more of that, DT in particular. He seems more than athletic enough to get to the rim.

ANO has a GREAT looking stroke. the ball doesn't go in often enough, but it does look good. it's something he should keep working on. they way his FT's improved, I can see him being a threat from outside next season.
Zo and Trey are shooting better than Terry from 3 this year. I would have lost the ranch on that one.

the way DT can sky, and teams lay off of him, I would like to see us attempt a few alley opps to him.

I whole heartedly agree that DT and TD should slash to the basket and take a close in shot and use the glass. It has to be a higher percentage play than the current 11% from 3. The bad part is that they can't shoot free throws either.

Although it is rare for Trey to be able to make a three, he seems to have learned when that is. 6 of 20 (30%) for the regular season
