In Sals defense, he shouldn't be our backup center BUT their center wasn't good and Sal could/should have done more.

I thought Sal was ok today, and is certainly our back up center. He’s head and shoulders better than Grace at this point, and is on the fringe of being a real difference maker on defense.

If he continues to progress and put on some muscle (see Cayo), I think he could be a very good player for us.

I think Sal showed today why he got few minutes last year. He can help in spots defensively, but is a long ways from being a starter (at least based on today's game)

Sal played great today. His potential is sky high!

What I like about Sal is that he is very active under the basket and is always around the ball. Burton is too. We just need Sal and Burton to play defense and rebound and that’s exactly what we are getting from both right now. That said, I think Burton is going to be a great player for us. He will score a lot of points in his career.

He arrived here with those skills too. Maybe we should hire his coach as our big man coach
