Golden milestones

Had a few head-scratching passes turnovers, including back-to-back ones early in the second half, but I did want to highlight that he tied Kevin Anderson for 5th on the UR career assist list tonight. And he did it in three fewer games...not bad for a big man. He also passed Woolfolk for 4th in rebounds. Pretty remarkable career Grant has put together:

4th in points (has a chance to move up to 2nd)
4th in rebounds (will likely finish 3rd)
t-5th in assists (could end up 3rd or 4th)
8th in blocks (has a chance at 5th)

I saw the same. In some of our losses, there were turnovers by both him and Gilyard. I thought Golden was fatigued. Gilyard was out of sorts as well.

great challenge for us yesterday, ODU was long and strong, we'll face it again this season, hopefully we learned some things we can do and some we cannot

Grant and Gilly looked like the game Friday took some wind out of their sails.
Grant ended up with key buckets but missed several close ones. Gilly had no points and
shot was off, but 8 assists and 4 steals were a huge contribution. We have the depth to
have a different hero every game.

great challenge for us yesterday, ODU was long and strong, we'll face it again this season, hopefully we learned some things we can do and some we cannot

expecting the Rams to play us like ODU on steroids...make it as physical and ugly as possible...

yesterday was a preview and good practice for things to come...glad we found a way!

SF - it really is quite amazing how Golden can have so many accomplishments and yet have zero NCAA appearances. Same for Gilyard.
