Let's Go Spiders! Keep up the good work, ladies!

LaSalle is struggling. We must stomp on them to keep the NET moving forward. They put up 29 in their last game. 29. In fact, they have averaged only 42 in the last 4 in mostly blowout losses. For the season, they have scored 50 or less in 10 games.

Must win in convincing fashion!

Yeah, I was keeping tabs on that St. Joe's–La Salle game on Sunday. La Salle actually won an incredibly ugly first quarter, 6–4. St. Joe's still only had a 2-point lead at the half, but then the Hawks figured things out and the Explorers did not.

Ugggly start. 6 minutes in and the Spiders trail 9–3 despite 6 turnovers by La Salle (Spiders have 4 of their own).

Spiders can't hit anything from outside while La Salle is canning their shots from deep on limited attempts.

37–21 Spiders at the break despite La Salle actually shooting ever so slightly better from deep. Explorers turning it over all over the place and Spiders dominating the boards. Spiders committed no fouls in the half.

Spiders are on cruise control as they should against this team, up 48–24. Balanced effort on offense while the Explorers are having a rough shooting night with a number of shot clock violations.

59–31 through three quarters. Ullstrom leads with 15 off the bench. La Salle is almost exclusively kicking out for threes, and not making many of them.

Spiders get the 74–54 win. Didn't love losing a bit of the margin as the Explorers finally started making some buckets and we tried to mix bench players in a bit more. Gotta maximize efficiency for NET purposes. Still a very comfortable win, obviously.

With our tiebreakers over VCU and St. Joe's already locked in, Duquesne is shaping up to be our biggest challenge for the 1-seed. Mason also in the mix, although they're in trouble against a terrible Bona squad right now.
