Frankly, the Super Seniors coming back was a mistake. Some of them earned individual accolades or records but it just set the program as a whole back another year and took us one step further away from relevance.

It seriously should bother everyone that we are getting crushed on the rebounds again.
I will never for the life of me understand Mooney's theory of retreating to play defense rather than fighting for offensive rebounds. How many second, third and fourth chance points did Rhody generate last night because they got offensive boards? What would our offense look like it we weren't always one and done?
How does anyone on earth that has played basketball all his life shoot 1-6 from the free throw line. You could put the last 4 Presidents and two playboy bunnies on the lane with Freddy Krueger as the ref and I would still make 5 out of 6. I will never understand that lack of concentration.

I actually think there are a lot of players that would shoot much higher, with the Barry method. My one son, who was not a great FT shooter (but better than Cayo
), tried it out in driveway once and was sinking them with the granny goose. But never tried it out in a game. Especially think some of the big men in the NBA that are so strong with huge hands could shoot a better percentage.
I can see it now, championship game with NCAA berth on the line. Cayo fouled at the buzzer, Spiders down three. Walks to the line, lines up the granny style, and knocks them both down. The legend of section9 is born.

And then we should fire every coach who allowed him to change his shot. I’m serious about this part, this is coaching malpractice and I don’t know how any of them have let it stand.
