Coach: "In big moments our guys made big plays"

In the post game interview with Bob Black, Coach Rocco said "in big moments our guys made big plays." I was thinking of Tyler Wilkins' third down catch to keep a crucial drive alive. Amazing.

The whole game we had guys step up. Wilkins, Abell, Jacob, Hudson. Spreading me the ball around was huge. And Broaddus was simply big time coming off the bench. Guys really made plays.

Josh Vaughan was right in yesterday's RTD column...he called it...

many stepped up big time including the coaching staff...

Omar Howard's INT in the end zone was another great play. He stopped their drive and ran it back 22 yards.

right on that Howard INT...there were so many big plays I probably couldn't remember half of them...

after the game I tried to list them and stopped after about a dozen...

how about the gang tackling at the line of scrimmage by the defensive front seven?...they totally destroyed the Redbirds offensive game plan in the first half...
