Right - there is no reason with the campus, academic reputation, and resources the school and the alumni have that we can’t be in the top tier of the A10 consistently and optimistic we are on that path.

No offense POM, but this thinking is the problem and it is all too prevalent. Thinking small.

UR should be more than capable of being, dare I say it, a VCU when it comes to NCAA regular visits.

Out of fairness to POM, we aren’t VCU or Dayton or Davidson, and definitely not Rhody (they probably don’t belong in the list but I’ll roll with it).

The important question is why.

It’s not because we aren’t invested (we spend competitively to these programs by and large) and it’s not because we have extreme academic restrictions (Davidson has those too). We aren’t a cellar dweller. We have the ncaas most stable coaching job apparently.

We have all the pieces to be successful, gotta go do it.

I just wonder what your expectations are? We aren’t Davidson, we aren’t Dayton, we aren’t VCU, we aren’t even Rhode Island. These are programs looked at as the cream of the crop when it comes to Mid Majors. It’s a tough league with bigger schools that attract higher recruits. No matter who the coach is for Richmond. It’s a tough gig

Rhode Island???? Don't see that much adulation for them.
