Just wanted to post a thread showing Cayo a little love. Over the last 3, he's averaged 19 points on 22-30 shooting. He's really stepped his game over since last year and has really answered the call the last few games. For some reason, he still can't get any love from some, but he's been a really bright spot over the last few games.

He has stepped up! Love his aggressiveness. On a team built on finesse, it is great to see aggressive play.

Kid is balling out. What is with all the passive-aggressive shout outs 05? I think Cayo has received a ton of respect on here. You seem quite full of it today.

Back on topic, Cayo has been a very pleasant surprise this year. I thought this guy was going to be more of a wing player when we recruited him. He has adapted to playing inside very well, and really using his quickness to exploit other "bigs". Big time game considering the circumstances and travel on game day. Well done.

Cayo has played well on both ends of the court all year, but the last 2 games against Gtwon and WF show that he can take it to the rim against big men from major conferences. We have a winner here!

He doesn't seem to have the life sucked out of him by Mooney yet. He seems to be playing his own game, or a game that hasn't existed under Mooney. Makes me wonder who's called the shots since the Hampton game?

Anyone notice that Cayo is now putting a little arc on his free throws? Did someone actually do their coaching job? Is rebounding possibly in our future?

Give you props 05 because you did have Cayo back last year when people here were giving him a lot of crap about his jumper. Still something he needs to improve but he is playing very well.

If he can gain an outside shot = to his inside presence, the sky is the limit for him in the A10.

Opponents are obviously scouting him because when he gets the ball on the perimeter they back off and dare him to shoot. But he's been either passing it off or driving and scoring with great consistency.

Cayo's ability to get to the rack and score against BCS Big men the past 2 games has been really impressive. He is also really aggressive on the glass (which might but him in the dog house at some point).

Cayo, Please keep your FTs above 70% so you can be relevant at the end of the game.

Also, we know you can dunk, how bout throwing down a couple?

I'm actually surprised that he isn't getting more rebounds. he has good size and hops. but only 3 boards in 28 minutes vs Wake and 4 in 37 minutes vs Georgetown.
still love how he's playing though.

Loudest I heard the RC was St Francis (NY) taking on Mary Munford Elementary at 11am on a Tuesday.
Best Basketball I ever watched in the RC was Oak Hill vs St. Benedictine. Brandon Jennings vs. Ed Davis. Jennings dropped something close to 40, but Davis had a huge block late on him to seal the win.
