If we didn't already have a lot of 'wealth', i'd be inclined to gripe that the CAA offensive POY missed 3+ games out of an 8 week season.

Congrats to Coach and all the players. Looks like more than 1/2 our starting lineup made one of the teams.

I do agree Vad being POY is just not right. I wondering if the folks voting on this are still living with the pre-season hype.

Dudley Award better go to Jacobi and not Lee or the fix is in.

Guess Jacobi has one more playoff game to make an impression before the vote...may he run wild 12/5!!!
Regardless, he has had a great season and I am sure he would much rather hoist a trophy on January 9th......

really happy for Coach Rocco too...much deserved...hope he has a bonus clause in his contract...

can't remember whether he was COY in 2012 taking the team from 0-8 in 2011 to 6-2 in 2012 or not, but think he may have been screwed like the team that missed the Playoffs that year...

congrats to all the players recognized for their hard work and talents...I believe the foundation of our program is now very solid...

Talley won in 2012. Nova went from 2-9 to 8-3, even though it was Talley who was coach the year of the 2-9 team. Rocco took over a 3-8 team, probably should have won that as well.

DR is doing a tremendous job with the Spider program. We graduated 23 seniors last year and won the CAA this year with a young football team. I think he is recruiting at a high level and he has brought the program back to national relevance. DR earned this award.

Disagree with some of you. Bad Lee deserved to be POY. If he hadn't gotten hurt his stats would have been great.
Just because he played for the pukes doesn't mean we shouldn't respect a great player.

I don't think its fair to project someone stats for the season though. He played in only 5 out of 8 CAA games. I think its hard to give someone the player of the year that did that

John Robertson's stats "would've been great" if he didn't get hurt in his 3rd or 4th game. Should he have been on an All CAA team based on projected stats too?

How come Seth Fisher wasn't on one of these teams based on his expected stats?

Mo, agree. Lee was a very good player, however POY should be based on performance on the field. Jacobi performed like no one else in the conference. Really disappointed he did not win the award. OSC

Honestly, I thought Jacobi was a no brainer for this after Saturday.

I'm fine with Lee being league 1st Team QB and I would've been ok with Lee getting POY if he played about a game and a half more.

On all honesty, their backup qb Schor could've been on one of the All Cinference teams based on projected stat over an entire season. That kid appeared leagues better than Cluley.

W&M got the first team punter, first team kicker, and special teams POY, Deadmon. Contrast that with our special teams.
This is why I worry about playing them again.
