Here's a pretty good preview of the tourney.

I guess Dauster is trying to sweeten up to the RPI fans after having declared Havoc a 'dying gimmick' earlier in the season.

He was correct earlier in the season. "Havoc" is as cheeseball as it gets - when it is on the uniform most observers would think it is either the name of the school or the mascot name. The word "havoc" is either a noun or a verb although the verb usage is considered archaic. Maybe that is how Dauster came up with the 'dying gimmick' label..................................perhaps he thought 'archaic' might be misunderstood by RPI fans........................

Duquesne -3 and Goo Moo -1.5 tomorrow.

Hard to not really like the Dukes at that number. SLU appeared ready for the offseason.

VCU a lock? Maybe not. I've been thinking this for a while. Here is a quote from Eamonn Brennan (6 hours ago) of ESPN:


"Our VCU-related anxiety is more than slight. We've had Shaka Smart's team locked in for weeks, confident the Rams had done enough prior to Briante Weber's injury to weather any declines after the fact. Suddenly, we're not so sure."

He sees possibilities for the Spiders, but they have more work to do.
