Can't seem to find the competition thread, so thought would keep track how rest of the A10 is doing in the portal.

Umass with a big pick up:
Josh Cohen - Conference POY, courted by PSU, Iowa, and Florida

Hey guys, I am headed to Augusta with my oldest daughter to see some golf this weekend and do a little traveling around the country before she heads to graduate school at Vanderbilt. I will miss you folks and hope y'all can find us some nice players for next season. This is truly a good group of fans that care about this school and the team. If we all thought exactly alike, what fun would it be? Have a wonderful Good Friday and a very Happy Easter with family and friends.

Oddly, this made me feel a little better about where UR is in the process. However, it also shows that the A10 is not a strong mid-major conference and will continue to be a 1-2 bid league. UR apparently likes its conference affiliation and is helping to shape the league even more (adding lacrosse for example). As I have said before, I expect a couple more teams to leave eventually and I am sure UR will try to advocate for future members to more closely resemble its profile (“competitive teams with a high academic profile”). UR will stay put and watch the pond get smaller.
