A10 coaching

Hurley is a good fit for UConn, no recruiting standards whatsoever.
Tough to win at UConn these days since they no longer have the Big East affiliation. Hurley would be well advised not to take that gig.

They won a national championship from their current conference Ulla. This year they were about as bad as we were, they have fallen a long way in just a few years.

I am watching Vermont and UMBC play now. They look like two high school teams. That was a pathetic loss for us.

Vermont is ~50 in the RPI, and equivalent to the Bonnies according to kenpom. No shame in that loss.

It was the first year of the AAC's existence...UConn still had a Big East roster. It takes a couple of years for the conference affiliation to drag you down. Remember most of our sports when we joined the A-10?

We were their biggest win by far. Sad.

Northern Kentucky was their best win by far. Bradley, Harvard and Albany were also better wins for them this year than their win against us. They almost beat the Bonnies in NY, the Bonnies needed a buzzer beater. They are a 27 win team right now, soon to be 28 wins. They are a good team.

Totally disagree- two good lower tier D-1 teams.
UMBC won and their coach is Ryan Odom. Sound familiar? Son of Dave Odom.
He won't be at UMBC next year.
BTW, another coach's son failed this year. Tubby Rahmonds (sp?) son had to resign
at Loyola, here in MD.

Vermont lost to the UMBC Golden Retrievers on their home court.

With all of the posting you do I'd think that you'd start working on reality and not wishful thinking.

What's unrelaistic about us hiring Becker or Odom? One is a veteran, older guy who has done well at a lower program, the other is an up-and-comer with good bloodlines who will get offers at our level this year. Both would be great fits.

well, like 32 says we can talk about all of this but good ol boy network of Hardt and Mooney are p

Agree, we just want to set the bar lower and lower. Pretty soon "My Team" will be suiting up for Richmond with our Run and Chuck offense of 40-60 year olds. Give me another beer sir.

Virginia didn’t give up 70 points all year. We did 22 out of 32 games
