Perhaps true but it looked that way last year too.I hear u, but I think we are better than at least 5 teams right now, which puts us in the 6-10 range. I think we have had a lot more portal success than the other bottom teams from last year.

One difference this year in portal is players with more game experience and proven results versus last year. GW andPerhaps true but it looked that way last year too.
UMass is one of the teams I expect to win more A10 games than…In a 14-team league (U Mass leaving) that consistently has 3 to 4 bottom dwellers, finishing 6-10 is a LOW bar.
I have always said I want a top 4 finish. Where in my post did I say mid tier was acceptable? You and others are so quick to get on me, I don't think you even read my posts sometimes.M
Your 6-10 is nothing more than projection. Even if we finish in 6-10 range that’s still unacceptable after 20 years, after a disastrous season this year, and 2 years removed from winning in season conference.
I agree. Read my previous post.In a 14-team league (U Mass leaving) that consistently has 3 to 4 bottom dwellers, finishing 6-10 is a LOW bar.
I think since Soulis was likely behind Beagle tells you he will probably not end up transferring laterally. Speaking of, anyone heard anything on him or GW3?One difference this year in portal is players with more game experience and proven results versus last year. GW and
AP were down the bench. Now White battled the injury bug early and came on late. Beagle and Dusan came to us with
strong stat lines but weaker conference experience. Beagle was for me the biggest disappointment and I think Soulis had a chance to be backup to Walz if he stayed.
Ive not seen a landing spot for either yet.I think since Soulis was likely behind Beagle tells you he will probably not end up transferring laterally. Speaking of, anyone heard anything on him or GW3?
The Powell saga continues!Yes, Duncan Powell is still floating around. Now headed to Georgetown.
How many years ago did you put money in for your billboard? Have you gotten any return on your money?
Between rescinding verbal commitments and also transfers, this has got to be some kind of record for most schools one has “committed” to
I liked his game at GW. High energy guy as I recall.Maximus Edwards is back in the portal looking for his fourth school. Started with an injury redshirt year at Kansas State, then played two at GW, and then we were interested him in the portal last time around but he ended up at Duquesne.
Yes. He's been in the portal for a while. VCU has recruited over him.from vcu???????????????
How much did you pit in for the billboard? Have you gotten any return on your investment?

I wasn’t going to reply, but I guess you don’t understand that I have said we were a bad team, and I won’t beDo you have any idea how pathetic you look out here chest thumping after we just won 8 games in a season 🤣
You know that you can ignore posters right?I wasn’t going to reply, but I guess you don’t understand that I have said we were a bad team, and I won’t be
upset if they let Mooney go. It’s the billboard that I have found atrocious since day one of it being posted.
Well, the billboard was absolutely right so..now what?I wasn’t going to reply, but I guess you don’t understand that I have said we were a bad team, and I won’t be

Still holds true to this very day and age.Well, the billboard was absolutely right so..now what?
What I remember is an article about how it hurt his family, friends and most specifically his children that had to endure their friends at school . I remember ESPN showing it on national TV and making negative commentsWell, the billboard was absolutely right so..now what?
Mading is headed to Charlotte.Kuluel Mading out of Norfolk State…
Seemed like a guy that would have been useful.Mading is headed to Charlotte.
Talented player but believe there are better fits available to fill our needs.Seemed like a guy that would have been useful.
Without weighing in on the billboard, I'll just say that Mooney's kids are (at least generally speaking) probably growing up in the best situation almost any kids could, better than any of us on this board and any of our kids did. Their dad has made $25 million and they want for nothing. If he didn't want his kids hearing anything negative, he wouldn't have gone into a very public type of career. And if the worst things they ever hear are some people calling for him to be fired, which is something that almost every coach experiences at some point, then they have it pretty good. What I remember is an article about how it hurt his family, friends and most specifically his children that had to endure their friends at school . about it And if we had fired him at that time, we would of missed out on a conference championship and a tournament championship.
You obviously don’t care about any of these things. You, who are probably in a position where no one cares about you, except maybe your family that must be so proud how you like celebrating the fact that a family, friends and children were hurt.
You’re thinking like a politician. Do you think that wealthy children don’t feel hurt and despair when their parent is disgraced? Do you think wealthy kids don’t get ridiculed by their friends?Without weighing in on the billboard, I'll just say that Mooney's kids are (at least generally speaking) probably growing up in the best situation almost any kids could, better than any of us on this board and any of our kids did. If someone wanted to pay me $25 million on the condition that a few people might put up a billboard for a day or two calling for me to be fired, I'd ask them where they wanted to erect it and I might even contribute a few ideas to help the process along.

Money does not salve a young persons feelings made by a heartless adult. And for what, to get a coach fired. Coaches get fired all the time, but few , if any, get publicly shamed by childish alumni.
It is my sincere hope that everyone that suffered from the immense trauma of a billboard being up for 2 days many years ago can find peace in this life. You’re thinking like a politician. 6th? I hope to be proven wrong but I don't see many teams I can definitively say we're better than.I hear u, but I think we are better than at least 5 teams right now, which puts us in the 6-10 range. I think we have had a lot more portal success than the other bottom teams from last year.
do you really think we've improved that much?I think we’re better than La Salle, Fordham, Duquesne, and URI right now. I think we’re in a group of 7th-10th with Davidson, GW, and the Bonnies. Need a difference maker if we want to contend for higher.
Yes and no. Yes that I think Johnston and Daughtry seem to fit an immediate role that we need and no in the sense I have no idea how this team will gel or adapt to Mooney’s system or Mooney adapts to their playing styles. I’ve wanted a versatile PG who is a playmaker but doesn’t look like we’re going to get that. I think Tyne is good but not main guy good. Hope I’m wrong. Beagle/Walz are probably good enough to fill the 5 spot. So that leaves someone playing the wing. I like a slasher, attack the rim kind of player who plays defense. Like Dji. Perhaps saying we could contend for top 4 was a little overzealous on my part, but with the right pieces I certainly think we can do better than 13th, which sadly isn’t saying much. Right now I have us in that 7th - 10th tier. With another impact player, I can see us bumping up to a 5th - 8th tier. Still not great and what we want, but who knows. I believe we were picked 11th 2 years ago in the preseason and we finished 1st.do you really think we've improved that much?
I won't go player by player, but those teams have added some talent too. look at the offers out of HS for Rob Dockery (La Salle). we're not adding anyone with a list like that. same with Hugley at Duquesne. or Friedrichsen and Roberts at Davidson
