Nice JOC piece interviewing Gipe about the emphasis on international recruiting and how it's only going to grow with international guys able to make decent money with NIL here now. (I know there have been some limitations on international guys and NIL due to visa issues, but there are always workarounds.)

Gipe was in Istanbul earlier this month for the FIBA U17 World Cup to do some recruiting. I know one of our 2025 targets, Tyler Kropp, was playing well there. Not sure who else we're looking at.

We join this community to discuss our Spiders. Personally I see a positive trend for our MBB team over the past 5 years, much as VT, 80s and others have regularly posted. I enjoy the positive thoughts of VT, 80s and others as they have been posting about our Spiders. I would encourage all who desire to post a negative thought to examine their thoughts in light of our progress over the last 5 seasons. Perhaps if we all temper any negative thoughts by evaluating our recent progress we will all feel better about our team.

No sign yet that he's going to be a D-I recruit, but will be interesting to see how things go for him.
