Sluka’s been shopping since his UNLV exit after 3 games there.

To his credit and devotion to Richmond for 2 years. He was scheduled to redshirt one of his 2 years here but was forced to play each year. He definitely saved us both years and we owe alot of our past 2 years of success to him. I loved this guy and we should all root for him to have the greatest of success at wherever he is or moves on to in his career.

Well said.

I hope they promised him a redshirt year if he wants it, and it works out for him if that is what he desires.

Hope they made good choices.

The HC at JMU was at Holy Cross.

Holy Cross stats for 2023.
Sluka that year ran it 186 times for 1247 net yards 9 TDs. He threw it for 197 times completing 122 for 1728 yards with 20 TDs and 5 INTs
The top RB that year ran it for 1046 yards on 156 carries
Team ran it 460 times for 2906 yards net with 31 TDs, they threw it 252 times for 2227 yards with 25 TDs

Guess we wait and see but first glance it looks like the HC might have wanted his running QB to play for him again, time will tell.
I would point out neither of these guys has been named the starter as yet.
Sluka will be #1 QB from the get-go.

Of course Nick goes there along with Ellis and Coleman. Main core of dissatisfaction with Richmond Offense. Birds of a feather flock together. It will be a great test to see how they fair versus being at Richmond🏈🕷️❄️

The Biden Doctrine

I take a modicum of solace in believing ......"the future is bright". :)
President Biden owns this defeat. He sacrificed his domestic agenda, his Presidency, and the country's status in the world. Things are worse now, but you are right. He is a one term President. This country is stronger than this. Yes, the future is bright.
Things are looking up.

The Biden Doctrine

The Biden Doctrine is alive and well. This time the beneficiary is a recently convicted fraudster; Charles Edward Littlejohn is on the clemency list for a commutation of his sentence.. He was convicted of stealing thousands of tax returns in May, including President Trump's. Biden has not made the final decision, but given Father Joe's tendency to forgive some of the worst criminals, I expect Mr. Littlejohn will receive a get out of jail free card.

Justice for thee and not for me.

UH, OH. . .JOC WILL BE IN MOONEY'S DOGHOUSE

Good question. He proved to be a Mooney clone when he was given the reigns of the program during Mooney's medical absence. Coached liked Mooney, talked like Mooney, didn't take the opportunity he was given in a lost season and try to take his own unique coaching tweaks into the game. That told us what we needed to know about Peter Thomas. He brings the same skill set/beliefs that the head man does.
That's exactly why I said we need a new coaching staff totally external to UR. An entire new beginning. With that there could be hope.

Students of the Game: Break Down Our Two Possessions to Win the Game

my issue wasn't running out of timeouts, though I dislike the one's Mooney uses for no apparent reason after makes late in a game ... but I guess if you have something to say, you use one.

my issue as others have said remains that you can't take Dusan out that late in the game when he's been your go-to guy all 2nd half, and when you have no way other than a foul or an out of bounds to get him back in.
