Booked my flight last night for Sun night to Wed morning so had planned to miss the Wed game but sigh sure better me games Mon & Tues

Really curious what's going to happen with the Gulf Coast Showcase if there truly are no other teams available to get the field to 6...three games each isn't mathematically possible for a 5-team group. We're apparently also in the West Palm Beach Classic just before Christmas. Alabama is listing "Michigan State/Richmond" possibilities for both 12/20 and 12/21 games. I also see Tennessee is participating in this, but I don't know the full list or the scheduling/pairings. Last year there were 10 teams playing two games each, but no official announcement yet.

Looks like a much better schedule than the men. Both teams coming off of successful seasons...why can't the men get it together!?!

CAA Football Has 11 Teams Ranked Or Receiving Votes In Latest FCS Top 25 Polls​

RICHMOND, Va. (September 16, 2024) – CAA Football has an incredible 11 teams either nationally ranked or receiving votes in the latest FCS Top 25 polls released by Stats Perform and the AFCA on Monday.

Villanova (3-0) leads the way at #5 in both polls following its narrow 14-13 triumph over Towson last Saturday. The Wildcats face a tough test this week at Big Ten member Maryland.

William & Mary (2-1) moved up one spot to #12 in the Stats rankings and remained at #13 in the AFCA rankings after its 28-21 road victory at previously unbeaten Wofford. The Tribe returns home to meet Furman on Saturday.

UAlbany (1-2) fell to #20 in the Stats poll and #22 in the AFCA poll following its 41-13 setback at #4 Idaho last week. The Great Danes are off this Saturday.

Four other CAA teams – Elon (1-2), New Hampshire (2-1), Rhode Island (2-1) and Richmond (1-2) were among others receiving votes in both polls. Campbell (1-2) and Towson (1-2) picked up votes in the Stats poll, and Monmouth (1-2) and Stony Brook (2-1) got votes in the AFCA poll.

I know we open at Temple and are at App State this year, and we're playing Oakland and Oklahoma State in Daytona in a Thanksgiving event. Can't remember anything else off the top of my head.

the game with del. state is being shown on espn plus at 6pm

If we never had success doing it Mooney's way, I could better understand the frustration on here with our style, but with our recent years of 24, 24, and 23 wins, all in the last 5 seasons (with a shortened 23 game season included), it seems like his style has been working out fine.

Mooney said Quinn was a little slow and they needed to conserve his energy by getting him back on defense early. He also mentioned that he expected more offensive rebounds, because Walz and Beagle are both very fast for big men. I expect a lot more offensive rebounds this year.
