I think we are reading this wrong. FL Tech isn’t D2. It is all stars from 2 teams.
SEC Gators and ACC Yellowjackets…

Ball State can be our Super Bowl.not only is it a weak MTE, but with the round robin 6 team format you don't even get the thrill of a potential championship game.
Absolutely! Even with a super weak field it would have been so much more compelling to follow if there was an actual title game waiting at the end. Bummer.not only is it a weak MTE, but with the round robin 6 team format you don't even get the thrill of a potential championship game.
The article quoted above saidThey have told you WHY, you just don't accept it. They think it puts us with more peer schools and gives us a chance to win championships. I'm not endorsing, just responding.
I see an excuse, only playing 10 games, including a D3…Really no excuse for anything less than 12-1 against this schedule.
Aren’t there only 10 (9D1) games without MTE, so far?Have to think at least 2 losses...Auburn and then you always drop at least one more than you don't expect. Charlotte maybe most likely, but could be anyone (*cough* W&M *cough*).
Of course, if this MTE falls apart completely, we might end up with only 11 non-conference games total.
Is D1 opening night 10 days?well opening night is in only 5 days!
scratch that ... 7 for us.
So not Walz & Beagle play together with Tyne as backup 5?
offset by Ball St (#243 Kenpom, #249 Torvik)Louisiana Tech is the strongest metric opponent we could have gotten (#107 Kenpom, #112 Torvik), so there's a chance that could be a Q2 game. But another D2 is blegh.
