the X-Man was a workhorse today...clearly taking advantage of his opportunity to become the lead running back...

20-127yds.-TD...not too bad for a coming out party...it certainly helps the offense when we've got a rushing threat...hope today was just the beginning...

Go Spiders!

He definitely helped take pressure off Lauletta.

After a very shaky start, Lauletta completed 16 out of his last 17 passes. Now that's impressive.....

I agree Rick. KL is an outstanding QB when we mix in the running game. I think we can still be a very good rushing team even without GC. The run today I thought really opened up the passing game.

He is the real deal.
Not sure which one you consider the "real deal" but Lauletta looked horrible in the first
quarter, and all of the Stony Brook game. He was like a deer in the headlights.
As far as Xavier goes, he's a true freshman which is incredibly impressive. I just hope
he can bulk up a little

Goodall. He is adept at slipping hits. He's only going to get better. Lauletta completed 16 of his last 17 passes. Maybe he's coming around??

Right now, Lauletta isn't going to sit in the shotgun and just throw us past our opponents. He needs a fair balance. Has been very shaky under pressure but does really well in play action. He biggest problem is consistency. Made some great throws tonight but some brutal ones against Stony Brook and even early in this game.

He does throw the deep ball better than most anyone though. He is just to inconsistent on 10-20 yard passes

Agreed, we were lucky today in the first half he had several interceptions just dropped by Colgate. Lauletta made a major turnaround in the second half.

X ran strong and I think will only continue to get better. I thought the offense looked better all night when Kyle was under center but maybe that is completely unproven.

Got totally pumped with Xavier Goodall's running game. Being offered by Air Force and Army is very impressive.

4 of our 8 verbals have FBS offers and the above schools all are missing out on talent that chose UR instead. We had a great start to the class. Need to close it out strong.

I don't think we ran it enough in the first half. Our O line was pushing Towson back. I think we could have put some distance between us and Towson had we run it more. Give X the ball. Good things happens when we run the ball with #2.

Goodall hits the hole hard and fast with minimal tiptoeing through the line. Holds on to the ball very well and finishes his runs. Becoming a good receiver also.

Lauletta was 12-16, 192 yards, 3 touchdowns in the first half.
