Which one person is most responsible for our huge turnaround and possibly NCAA tourney season?

I would say Chris Mooney only because if I had to pick one I would credit the emphasis and improvement on defense and free throw shooting to him.

Nothing changed except the addition of Blake Francis. This Is an easy choice.
Whoever held Mooney's feet to the fire and convinced him to make drastic changes. If that was Meat & Potatoes, so be it.
The entire team bought into the process, Jake and Dre who excepted their role as role players...was key!!
A newfound focus on defense, rebounding, and FTs - all loooong time CM team bugaboos. Attention to these made the difference more than the roster. We knew we would be good offensively with or without Blake.
I’ll give Mooney credit where due. This year was different. Rather than folding whne games got close, we found ways to win games (as mentioned - rebounding & free throws really made a key difference).
I do think he’s also responsible for the 8 years he missed the NCAA, but I’ll give him benefit of the doubt that he’d have gotten one this year.
next year we better schedule tough and win big. We’ve been waiting a decade for this team.

I am once again with Broc. If you really are going to pick one person, you would have to go with the person that didn't fire CM after 2 years of ultra-poor performance. I don't think it is possible to pick one player as the key difference - everyone did their part. From the coaching perspective, it sure sounds like it was a team effort there as well.
