With the program being shutdown with Covid. Takes several days figure out the spread. Who was in close contact? Can take up to 14 days to show? I say 60 percent right now it gets canceled

a lot of schools have someone test positive and they're able to contract trace to isolate the problem. I don't know if we have wearables that trace though.

I would say the odds are quite low. How long were we paused last time? And that was with false positives according to Mooney. But if it's an important player the odds decrease further, if end of bench player then they increase a bit.

contract tracing devices will tell you who's been within 6 feet for over 10 minutes. that seems to be considered the safe cut off, whether it's right or not.

I know the NFL protocol was two negative tests on two seperate days. So assume its a player - as mentioned above, everyone is probably a close contact. But if you test all kids and coaches today and tomorrow and get negatives - doesn't that isolate the problem.
The question would be - what if it is just 1-2 players. BUT they are key players. Like if Gilly and Francis tested positive, but everyone else negative. We could clearly field a team, but it wouldn't be very good. But do we cancel because of WHO tested positive, not HOW MANY?

Interesting question. Do teams cancel/post pone games based upon who can’t play?

the best break in our schedule is right after the 2/12 game @ VCU. the next scheduled game after that is 2/20. can fit one or even 2 games in there if needed.

VCU wants to cancel it, I'm sure. One less tough game on their schedule. If they can skate by playing only the GWs and Fordhams of the league, they're a lock for a bid!

Let's set up a Valentine's Day Massacre.

It will have the added benefit of allowing enough travel time back to campus.
