Not that anyone cares, or necessarily should...

But here is the state of the bottom 6 of the A-10
LaSalle - 2 conference wins, 4 home games against the bottom 6 left, 2 away games
St Joe - 2 Wins, 2 home, 3 away
GW - 2 wins, 2 home, 2 away
UMass - 1 win, 3 home, 3 away
UR - 1 win, 3 home, 2 away
Fordham - 0 wins, 2 home, 4 away

Correct, I definitely cannot care about this.

But thanks for assembling the data.

I can't wait until we are relevant enough again that the A-10 tournament becomes "must watch" for spider fans and alums and dare I say even worth traveling to in the near future. Of course I'll watch our usual one to two games in Brooklyn but I miss the excitement of being a top 4 seed. This program is and has been in a deep slumber. I hope we wake up soon.

I'll never forget being in middle school and getting pulled out of school to drive up to Atlantic City for the 2010 A10 Tournament and then the 2011 one the year after. Fun times.

Man. I will probably drive over to Brooklyn for a game if I can. But FFS. What a debacle.

That is a fine memory! I am one of the UR grads who is from NJ originally, and I have moved back to the US with my family. To.... The great state of New Jersey!

Just thought it was a long drive from South America to Brooklyn...

Im starting to arrive at the conclusion that we will be playing on Wednesday in Brooklyn.

Sat game could be pivotal to stay out of the Wednesday gutter. Speaking of Brooklyn, and I might have missed this elsewhere, but announced recently A10 will be in Brooklyn in 2023 & 2024 with a 1 year trip back to DC in 2022. So 5 of next 6 years in Brooklyn. Personally I find Brooklyn way overrated and not sure why A10 seems so infatuated with it.

Brooklyn was a nice idea for a couple years but things should move between DC, Pittsburgh, Philly and AC. Better fits at any of those places.

I dont get their infatuation with Brooklyn. Almost a waste of time to play it there, especially with Big East tourney going on down the road. Go to a spot where the A10 can be the main draw.

Not currently looking at a map, but isn't the overwhelming majority of the conference within DC to Philly corridor? Find a spot somewhere in the middle, and the team's fans will converge on that location. Just seems to be an easy business decision

Loved AC, thought Pittsburgh was a great, easy location too. I have no desire to travel to Brooklyn to see the tournament.
With you there, although AC was a home game for Temple at the time.

I think Brooklyn is a great location for the tourney. We probably need to get to 7 wins to avoid playing Wednesday. If St Joe's gets to six wins, 6 wins looks like it will put us on the wrong side of tiebreakers.

He said here. I think he meant then. I don’t think all A-10 Tournament games are played on Wednesday...

Currently in the 10th slot at 6-9, SJU in 11th at 5-10.

Looks like Mooney's team has a shot at it.

I think playing on Wednesday would be rock bottom for the program and in and of itself enough to terminate Mooney.

So, does playing on Wednesday and winning against Fordham and then losing the next day look better or worse than not playing on Thursday and losing our first game?

I believe it wasn't so long ago that the bottom four didn't participate in the tourney at all, correct? So for me the bottom four is a big symbol of how far the team has fallen.

Year 14 check-in with 2 games to go.

12-17 overall and 6-10 in conference.

Currently slotted to compete in a Wednesday game in Brooklyn.
