Ok. Wojcik and family. Feel sorry for you guys; no one with information, only criticism. I have a lab on campus, go by the RC daily. I would share more but know that many will criticize from afar with no knowledge of what is going on. Sad.

I am glad he posted what he did. It is nice to know we have Wojcik here visiting, and had Ulla not posted, we would still be seeing some guesses and some ill advised, sarcastic, negative comments. He made an exception to his ban and threw us a bone. Accept it.
Of course I do. That is why I said sarcastic in my post. But, it is obvious when sarcasm is unnecessary and only used to add to a negative theme.
I'm just curious what is your affiliation with the program? How long have you been following and/or involved with Spider basketball?
Long enough to appreciate Jumpin' Johnny Newman and Kenny Atkinson. Which means also long enough to know we needed to make a change from Bill Dooley when we did, so I am not always a support the coach 100% of the time guy.
This is big news. He could end up being our starting SG next year. Please share more.

Um, for the record, I was the one with information that someone was on campus and hardly was criticizing. I think all of you guys at the edges need to calm the hell down and start being civil with one another. This crap is tiresome.
MS, the unconditional love for CM from this relatively new poster had me also wondering. And the the key word from you is POTENTIALLY ..... hope for the best from Jake but the fact only 1 offer for him and being right in St Mary's backyard with them not showing any interest concerns me he might not help the program let alone start next year.
I'm willing to put an asterisk on the lack of interest given the Siena connection.
True, he committed to Siena in 2016 and hasn't been on anyone's radar since.
Perhaps I'm putting too much emphasis in circumstantial evidence, but the timing of this signing lends me to believe he will be ready to compete this year.
Blake Francis is going to start for us at guard for two years, but not next year. Then we get another 2/3 in Andre who may not be ready next year. Adding in a third guard that isn't ready yet would be a really strange recruiting move.
FWIW, the Siena press release issued at the time Wojcik signed has a quote from Jimmy P. saying he had other offers but that Siena recruited him hard.
Just presenting as counter-evidence that just because something isn't listed in Verbal Commits doesn't mean it doesn't exist. It's certainly more comforting to see other offers on there, but it's not dispositive.

Glad to hear that and makes me more comfortable too. Just have to wait and see but no doubt big opportunity for a SG if Nick plays limited minutes at that position.
Reading the Siena board a bit about him and a lot of parellels to our program. They were talking about whether he would replace Smithen and wondering if they were also going to get Sy Chatham. They were excited to get him, but not disappointed when he left.
He signed early with them. Apparently, had an offer from San Francisco as well at the time. He was POY in his conference the last 2 years. Shared the honor last year with Cincinnati recruit Logan Johnson and won the year outright this year over Johnson. Johnson is the brother of Heat Player Tyler Johnson.

The comparison to a Cincinnati recruit is promising. I think he looks good offensively, the big question is his quickness on the defensive end.
But this doesn't matter right? He only had offers from lower schools so he isn't any good
I'm excited. I think the three recruits we have signed should raise the bar of expectations significantly for this program. A top-3 finish in the league next year should be the floor for this team. We have a veteran coach and a lot of returning talent, mixed with some young talent. No reason why we shouldn't expect to see some real achievements next year.
