VCU is playing really well right now. I see them going to the Sweet 16. They all but dominated the conference.
👍👍It’s a shame that people on this board can’t give credit where credit is due. Mike Rhodes is a class act. Whether his players are under our standards or not, they are clean cut athletes that are not highly talented but are passionate and give it there all. And most importantly, Rhodes can coach their talents and blend them into winners 👏
2 OT losses and 3 of other 4 are 2x Gonzaga and HoustonGoing to be a big ask for VCU to take down Saint Mary’s in the first round
2022-2023When was the last time the A10 was a one bid conference?
Next year will be bright. If not next year, then the year after that. All is good. Temper expectations. When was the last time the A10 was a one bid conference?

Thank you! Hoping we can catch that fire or drink that water!!“His players are under our standards or not”??
Man UR fans need to get over themselves. VCU dominates UR in hoops and is a pretty significant mid major year after year. They have an admin and fanbase that strives for success, unlike UR. I give them much props and will root hard for them to win some games in the toirnament. You can only hope their success might drive the UR’s weak leadershipless athletic department to feel the need to achieve more.
They are a good team but historically perform badly in the tournament. IMO if a 12 vs 5 matchup, Id want St Mary’s.2 OT losses and 3 of other 4 are 2x Gonzaga and Houston
I was with you until the last sentence. Moses could part the lake separating the 2 sides of our campus, and it still wouldn’t be enough to drive leadership to achieve more.“His players are under our standards or not”??

As an A-10 member don't we get a slice of the NCAA appearance money the Rams earn? Doesn't the amount increase with the deeper VCU wins into the bracket? It’s a shame that people on this board can’t give credit where credit is due. Mike Rhodes is a class act. Money isn't the issue. The University doesn't want to win! There is zero accountability. We are being told by the BOT/AD to lower expectations and that this last season was a transition year. Money and players are not the issue. The lack of commitment to winning is.As an A-10 member don't we get a slice of the NCAA appearance money the Rams earn? Hell, if we can't beat them maybe they can help us fund an NIL with some of their NCAA money?

Without looking at it at all, I would think $37,000 for each win.As an A-10 member don't we get a slice of the NCAA appearance money the Rams earn? Doesn't the amount increase with the deeper VCU wins into the bracket?

I believe our "share" of each VCU game is about $5k-6k per year over 5 years. As an A-10 member don't we get a slice of the NCAA appearance money the Rams earn? Doesn't the amount increase with the deeper VCU wins into the bracket?
