did not take long for pitt to replace dixon. good coach, don't know about the fit but has his work cut out for him in the acc.

Stallings at Vandy since 1999 with 7 NCAA's.Gets 6 year deal from Pitt.
Just like baseball managers-move from dugout to dugout and just change uniforms and say how they are 'blessed and humbled.'Stallings was on his way out of Nashville.Sub 50% in SEC during tenure.Nothing owed to Pitt or Vandy by Stallings leaving 'voluntarily'.People at Pitt cannot be happy with this hire.A downgrade from Dixon.

You would think that after receiving such praise from basketball geniuses like The Ulla and URfan1 Vandy couldnt pass up taking the brilliant Chris Mooney as their next coach. It will hapoen.

Saw Wade is out of the picture, having signed an extension through 2024.

Vandy played Kentucky, Tennessee, Florida , etc. I don't see it as a big move. Pitt has pretty tough
requirements, equivalent to Vandy. I guess the ACC mystique and money. :)

Both coaches (Pitt and Vandy) moved from hot seats to cool ones. Both were lateral moves, other than temperature.
