Passed away over the weekend at age of 78. Was team captain my freshman year. Previous year he was All-Southern Conference third baseman. Switched to first base so Steve Kennedy could move into the third base position. Steve subsequently made All-SC there. Tommy also caught some as well. RIP Tommy.

Had some health issues the last decade or so. Good baseball mind.

That’s too bad. I was a freshman, but still remember him. Good ball player on a rotten field.
