This is a brutal tragedy. Another young rising star lost in an accident involving guns. I can't imagine the pain that Joey and Jaylen's mother are going through.
Apparently, he was visiting a friend's house when it occurred. While in a home, guns should be locked in a tamper proof safe. Only in emergencies should a gun be removed from a safe. Also, children should never be allowed to access guns without adult supervision. And adults should teach children about gun safety.

Someone should be going to jail if this is the case. If you own a gun and it's accessed by someone else, especially when it results in death, you need to be behind bars for many years.
