Michigan RB Derrick Green, a Hermitage product, is transferring and will have a year of eligibility left. Set aside the fact that he was the #1-rated RB in the nation the year he came out of Hermitage and dream for a second that he chooses to come home for his last year and fill our gaping hole at that position...

Ok, now back to reality.

Yeah, but perhaps he spent some quality time with Brian Brown over the Christmas break....

love to dream, but sometimes I have nightmares...has Brown graduated?...regarding quality time together, if Green and Brown want to team up, let's hope it's with the Spiders...

okay, I'm awake now...after another disappointing basketball season I'm really looking forward to Brown and Lauletta's 2016 season...it should be spectacular

I hope Brown is in his ear! I imagine Green could head a number of places, and playing at the FCS level given the type of recruit he was seems highly unlikely, but you never know.

I would think that if he moves to a top-level program, he's not going to have a guaranteed starting spot, since he has battled injuries and not been highly productive recently. So does he go to a school like an ECU or lower where a starting spot is at least likely? Or would he come home to a guaranteed starting spot with us on a team that is ready to win a national championship?

It may be a BIT more intriguing than I first suspected. Who knows.

I think there will be plenty of in-state suitors excluding UVA,WM.Does Tech need an RB?

Check out #27 v App State(3:20 and 6:40)

I'm pretty sure we would find a place for the former top-rated FBS running back recruit in the nation if he wanted to come here.

DR sure seemed excited about signing Goodall and Hines. Anxious to see them play.

Reading that Green will have his degree from Michigan at the end of the semester. Grad transfer to FBS school can play immediately.

Rethinking-Not sure that we need a 5-11,240 running back with 1 year of eligibility.Green is built like a fullback and doesn't appear to have the speed which we have recently become accustomed to.

Moon graduated

Moon may have graduated but he has a year of eligibility remaining.

This was issued for Senior Day at W&M 125th game-

Senior Day
Before the game the Spiders will honor 14 seniors with a special ceremony. Jacobi Green, Seth Fisher, Dominique Miller, Ayo Ogunniyi, Trevor Jones, Reggie Diggs, Tim Thomas, David Herlocker, Nick Ritcher, Kieno Jones, Caleb High, Josh Hess, Fernando Gaston and Devin Cook will all be honored before their last regular season home game at Robins Stadium.

I thought I remembered TJ Moon walking with his family during the Senior Day ceremony. I think he decided to move on from football.

Correct, he is no longer with the program

Thanks RS that is what I understood. I hope we can pick up a quality RB transfer. I would feel better. By that I am not criticizing those in the program, just always better to have options.

TJ was one heck of a blocking back who could really make things easier for Jacobi. He will be missed
