You gave it all you had the whole time you were a Spider. Especially the last part of this season and playoffs. The pain of playing and the mental part of not being able to preform at the high level you knew you could have done if healthy was highly appreciated by all Spiders. Looks like quite a few of those BCS/FBS transfers may go into shock when they get out of the Uber in Buie’s Creek.
Seriously anybody know what’s is going on there? Are they like GA St., Charlotte and ODU a decade ago, using the CAA as a quick stepping stone to FBS?
Maybe some of these guys play golf. Campbell has a nice course, Keith Hills, which I played annually for years. It’s close to the Sand Hills area and its legendary golf resorts and courses too.

the campbell game has become our most need to watch home game. interesting to see how last years team can improve this year w/ almost a new roster of 18 new players from the portal. football and basketball are about to see major changes in the coming years, as the NCAA has developed their plan of free agency along w/ paying college athletes thru image;likeness;advertising etc. what next?
Starting this Spring 2023 , the portal transfer notification window has been moved from May 1-15 to April 15-30. This was another proposed rule change back from the October meetings of the NCAA meetings of the Division 1a council. The council has now adopted the proposal and made it effective immediately.

A RB and two LB mentioned by name in the article, as well as WR since we lost one for next year.
Looks like the best WR mentioned will play FBS again judging by the offers.

There have been a number of exits over the last 2 months(estimate another 20) prior to the Spring game.
Yes - my point was that we need players. Not saying all the guys at Colorado would be stars but would seem to be better than empty chairs if we’re trying to supplement the roster.
Hopefully we land a couple of transfers to round out the edges on the roster. Unfortunate reality is that FCS teams are going to lose experienced players to FBS schools. Just need to keep filing in as best you can with the best talent you can.
