I don't remember much of the game; my focus was on Cedar Falls...

Where were you when this happened?

Mooney was the coach.
We blew a double-digit second half lead.

Had seats about half way up on the 20 yard line right beside a high school coach, who said he coached several of UNIs players. Kept shaking keys in my ear all game. Turned to give him a rash of crap when Joe Stewart held that ball up and he was no where to be found. Lol. What a game.

I don’t think I’ve ever gotten over a loss to VDU as quickly as I did that day.

Yea, but they have to remember the 8 Pts in 33 seconds and losing in OT and then TJ knotting the
game up with 2 seconds left, and UR going on to win.

I was in the Robins Center that day to see that game. The number of times I saw a team's best player not doing much and then flip the switch late to beat our Spiders over the years. But then Kevin Anderson did that to other teams an occasion or two or more also. Just not that day. Then went to BW3's to watch the football game. Drinks were spilled and a table almost got knocked over when Joe Stewart caught that pass.

Ten Years Ago Today...

I know many of us were in Chattanooga, but...

We lost. At home. A winnable game against a quality opponent.

After the game, Coach Mooney said he needed to be better at using his bench. I'm sure he eventually figured it out.
