But how many have had the chance to try to be successful without a coach? 🤔I am very pro-coach. I think our team needs a coach. I can't think of many successful programs that did not have a coach.

Uh, yeah, they cut back to the current two rounds several years before Curtis came through.I mentioned Curtis Blair once. His answer was that he wouldn't get drafted now, b/c when Curtis was drafted their were a lot more rounds. Now go look up and see which round Curtis was drafted.
I don't believe he means to be "pro coach at the expense of the program". the intent matters even if you disagree with him. he wants the program to succeed. the conspiracy theory that he's a Mooney guy and not a Richmond guy is far fetched.Disagree, when I say "pro coach", I guess I have to say "pro coach at the expense of the program". This guy has essentially gone out of his way when Tarrant or anyone non Mooney era is brought up to show how Mooney is better, current guy is better, etc. Hell, I used to communicate with one of the assistants on the staff. I mentioned Curtis Blair once. His answer was that he wouldn't get drafted now, b/c when Curtis was drafted their were a lot more rounds. Now go look up and see which round Curtis was drafted. It's a mindset with this crew. 4700. He is "pro coach at the expense of the program".
He was actually a heck of a player, POY in CAA, drafted by world champion Rockets. Freaky Kevin Smith type athlete, with quite a bit of skill. He was probably more of a 1/2 tweener - back in the days of position basketball , a little small for 2 guard, but not quite really a point. Would have liked to see him go to a team with more opportunity though, Houston had a loaded roster and had Sleepy Floyd out with injury, when he came back Curtis got cut.Do refs draft?
Only if it is Mooney coaching.he wants the program to succeed
Congrats, everyone...SpideNation got Mooney to break his silence.

Are we currently a "likely at-large team?"
No, but we seem to be close enough to the bubble that perhaps his survey trickled as far down as us, depending on how many didn't respond. But yeah, if I had to bet, I'd say weren't included in the group. Are we currently a "likely at-large team?"
It wouldn’t have to be our attitude if things changed just a little bit. That’s quite the defeatist attitude. No thank you
To be clear, it's not "our" attitude. Its YOUR attitude. It wouldn’t have to be our attitude if things changed just a little bit.
Good news because that gives us a date to schedule Bona, Dayton or someone else worth playing.
Good thing the A-10 makes those decisions.Mooney's going to "try real hard but couldn't make it happen"

After last week cancellation this one was as predicted. But if they wanted to have it they easily could. They just don’t want to. It’s not like they gather in person at Bill’s bbq anymore. It’s all remote.
You’d think next Monday has a chance to be mildly interesting but I expect lot of pats on the back for dealing w unusual circumstances and then a pep talk from Ivan.
PS also perhaps some analysis of a Carson Wentz trade & a preview of the Eagles next season.
