The SEC has taken advantage of NIL. Six of the top 7 spots in the AP Poll are held by members of the South Eastern Conference. This has never happened before. It reflects the amount of money these schools are spending to acquire elite players. The divide between the SEC and other conferences will only grow. The ACC will be left behind.

Yesterday, Tennessee dominated Oklahoma in OU's first SEC conference game. The Volunteers defense was dominant, as the team shuttled high dollar defenders in and out. Oklahoma probably had 8 to 10 players helped off the field due to injuries.

And TAMU totally dominated an outstanding Bowling Green club from the mighty Mid-American Conference. Must have been a grudge match, avenging the absolute beatdown Toledo gave to Mississippi State.
