First college lax game for me was a thriller. Hoo nephew and friends, one my own and better half in attendance. Hoo nephew lost bet that margin of victory would be 15+. Too bad. Beautiful day on campus and in Robins Stadium. Spiders well coached, confident, competent and fun to watch.

Very impressive first game by UR LAX guys. Just needed a couple calls to go their way in last quarter to pull off the upset and this with mostly freshman squad.

Wow...I'm shocked it was that close. If it had been a warmer day, I was planning on making the 90 minute journey up with my kids.

Spiders played great! The attendance far exceeded my expectations. Of course, the Hoo faithful helped with that, but there were plenty of Spiders and local LAX fans. The team is well coached, has grit and talent, and its great to see the program get off to such a stellar start.
