Quality and Depth of players

I know this will sound negative but our bench while better still isn’t a strength for this team. We are still heavily dependent on our starting five to win but have found enough bench talent to keep the starters fresh. That’s a massive improvement over the last few years.

We can get some bench scoring but it’s mostly just Burton unless Woj gets hot, maybe Gus once in a blue moon. But again, greatly improved.

Woj and Goose have made significant contributions in many games this year. I don't think these two are A-10 starter material but they are solid bench guys who give us options on the court.

I was really high on Sal last year, but he has really disappointed this year. Grace is Grace.

Not sure how you don't keep Burton out of the starting line up next year. He is a unique talent.

Look at it this way. If someone comes in for Nate, we still have Jacob, Blake, Nick, and Grant on the floor as big time scoring options. Or, when Sal or Grace comes in early for Grant, they are our 5th scoring option, and we don't need points from them. Andre, Jake, and Burton have all shown they can have big games offensively, but it should not be expected when we usually have so many scoring options on the floor with them.

I personally love Tyler in the super-sub role to come in for either Sherod or Cayo depending on need. I'd be just fine with him as 6th man of the year next year.

Interesting between Burton and Grace and rest of subs, they contributed with 12 or the 40 rebounds or
30% of the total rebounds. There may have been low point totals but 30% of the rebounds based on less
than 20% of the total minutes played, was very important factor. It proves that the little things really add up
to positive results

WIth one regular season game to go any thoughts on which of our players will make the all A10 teams? I think Gilyard will make 1st and Golden 2nd team. The question is how many more spots does the 2nd place team deserve? Francis will probably make 3rd team. Sherod?
