Gospidergo thank you for the "Challenge" post cause what you stated sure
seemed evident in effort tonight. Unbelievable heart and grit for we were fighting
the Colonials and the refs at the same time.

And could you believe the last 20 seconds with who was left on the floor with 8 point lead and GW
decided they had enough. Would have been funny to watch Moran get fouled and go to the line and
hit two. One of craziest games I have watched in awhile.

Last thing, was it me or were those freaking announcers so pro GW constantly talking about RPI and Lunardi's picks and
not one mention of our schedule. They deserved to have their bubble burst. I hate biased announcers.

I agree, the announcers were not prepared for the game at all and called it pro-GW.

Bob did the game for ESPNU.He's not a heavyweight.Bob does CAA football as well.Started at WTNH in New Haven. He's a utility player for ESPN.A generalist. He knows GW is 90 miles from the UR campus and where the Potomac River is located.Important stuff. He's been to UR a number of times to do roundball and CAA pigskin games.

Richmond knocks off George Washington 98-90 in 2OT

WASHINGTON -- ShawnDre' Jones scored 29 points, Khwan Fore had 18 and the pair combined for all 13 Richmond points in the second overtime of a 98-90 win over George Washington on Thursday night.

Obama's brother in-law did tonight's commentary with Picozzi of ESPNU.Craig Robinson was the former coach of Oregon State and Brown.Wonder if he stays in the Lincoln bedroom when he's in town.

He also played at Princeton but from 1979-83.

You mean like the announcers at the VCU game? There aren't many pro-UR announcing crews out there, and GW won some better OOC games.

A year or two ago Stan Van Gundy called one of our games. He was super knowledgeable, obviously not just reading off a notecard or regurgitating the typical talking points. To me he was one of the best I remember calling any game.

Big thumbs up for Van Gundy, he was the best of recent memory. Do have to say that Craig Robinson was at least somewhat knowledgeable about our program probably only because of CM and the Princeton connection.

Craig probably in DC visiting his brother in law. Why not pick up free travel and some lunch money.

This was the kind of game to turn the whole "feel" of this board around, and we really needed a turn-around!!! We saw some great "grit" and effort in this game, and this team continues to not have any "quit' in them, which is great... Let's see if we can make it two in a row..

Have to come out with crazy confidence and effort at Bona. After watching Dayton destroy them in bona makes me think this is a beatable team. Need Wood to get some early looks

There's no team in the league we can't beat. When we're shooting well, we have proven we can hang with the best. Should have beaten VCU, which at this stage of season is the top team.

The key is consistency & good decision making, and they are big hurdles to leap. We can't have inconsistency & lapses in judgement & expect to win.

And a little defensive effort helps.
