we are experienced and we expected and hoped for an at-large, but older doesn't guarantee anything. one and done kids are usually the best players on the floor. Tyler's certainly one of our best without being a 5th year guy. Nick of 2 and 4 years ago was a better player younger with better knees.
Some of us said this all preseason while others were like, Nick is gonna be our starting 2 guard and our offense is gonna be so great.we are experienced and we expected and hoped for an at-large, but older doesn't guarantee anything. one and done kids are usually the best players on the floor. Tyler's certainly one of our best without being a 5th year guy. Nick of 2 and 4 years ago was a better player younger with better knees.
So I guess nicks knees is the excuse this year?we are experienced and we expected and hoped for an at-large, but older doesn't guarantee anything. one and done kids are usually the best players on the floor. Tyler's certainly one of our best without being a 5th year guy. Nick of 2 and 4 years ago was a better player younger with better knees.
Not all of us were excited, some of us knew the chef making the meal was the same.just saying we got awfully excited about our experience on the assumption that everyone always continues to get better and thus the team must get better. it's not always the case.
Last season was a real eye opener for me. My expectations were turned way down for the super senior group heading into this season. Not all of us were excited, some of us knew the chef making the meal was the same.
Right, we all watched this team underperform last year, did we not?Last season was a real eye opener for me. My expectations were turned way down for the super senior group heading into this season.
Yep, we peaked right around the run up to the A10 tournament, the almost made the NCAA's. We had a good shot, BUT as we have seen with this group there were no guarantees that they would have one a couple games in the A10 tourney. And Blake Franchise is not walking back in that door. We can debate all we want about his pros and cons, but his shooting, scoring and toughness has not been replicated at the off guard spot this season. Goose has been good of late, but even when fully healthy not a scorer like Blake - and we really needed that for the games GIlyard can't or won't score. Huge hole on the roster this season. And Cayo came crashing back to earth, so very uneven performance at the 4.Right, we all watched this team underperform last year, did we not?

You seem to have confused last year with the year before.Yep, we peaked right around the run up to the A10 tournament, the almost made the NCAA's. We had a good shot, BUT as we have seen with this group there were no guarantees that they would have one a couple games in the A10 tourney.
Well, now there is a first...You seem to have confused last year with the year before.
Edit: LOL, I'm too slow.
Right and that’s enough success for the administration. Simply being mentioned as a bubble team.Anyway...
Somehow we are mentioned here
