I have no idea. But they are pretty accurate in basketball. At realtimerpi.com, they are predicting a 36-17 win for Iowa. Iowa plays a form of smash-mouth type football, as does NDSU. This NDSU team has lost a lot from prior seasons. I suspect NDSU will be overwhelmed and will suffer significant injuries to key players. NDSU could lose by 30+ points. JMHO.

Hmmm....they have the Spiders winning the rest of their games but finishing 10-1.

I believe they predict each game individually but aggregate the likelihood to calculate the season predictions. For example, it has us with a 59% chance to beat W&M and 63% for beating Albany...37% chance of winning both, according to their current predictions.

NDSU, however, has lost much of its prowess from seasons past. It won a close game against Charleston Southern and won in overtime against Eastern Washington. They cannot play smash mouth football against a tougher, bigger, more talented football team and expect to win.

Former Iowa coach Hayden Fry had the visitor's locker room painted pink which as night follows day had the perpetually offended saying in their words " it is sexist and discriminatory."

Or Maybe not. Ran it down their throat the entire 4th quarter and on both big drives. Over 200 yards rushing etc. They can certainly smash mouth the current (as of today) #2 ranked team in FBS!

Still stand by my comment in 20+ years following Spider football that I have never seen us overmatched like I have than in that game last year from them. NDSU is App State on steroids.
