I enjoyed this thread last year so let's roll it back for the new year.

11/4:

LaSalle -4.5 over American

Here is what I posted earlier on the other one: 2-2 on this young season so far.

Charleston - 3.5 over S. Illinois
SLU + 1.5 over Santa Clara
McNeese - 6.5 S. Dakota State
Toledo +5.5 over Troy

my picks from the other thread:
✅ Kansas -27.5 over Howard
❌ Purdue -24.5 over TA&MCC
❌ Loyola Chicago -21.5 over Chicago State

1-2, Loyola barely beats one of the worst teams in the country at home. This was supposed to be one of the strong teams carrying the A10 this year? The A10 is a joke.

I'm gonna start following this as the season progresses. My take is the books make a lot of money off of early season hoops because no one has a real read on teams yet, espicially with the portal. I won't start betting on college hoops probably till mid December.

I'm enjoying being 1-0 thanks to LaSalle. I've had a hard time finding games I like since then. Maybe I'll come back with Spiders once I see Saturday's line....

1-1-1 for me with possibly the worst pick anyone will make this season (Vermont.) UConn pushed after they didn't effectively dribble out the clock at the end, keeping me from being 2-1.

For the last 5 or so years, my friend and I have picked games against the spread, alternating picks for X dollars per game. Our twist is to base weight the value of the game based on point differential from the spread: 1X for 1-9 points from the spread, 2X for 10-19 points, 3X for 21-29 points, and 4X for 31+ points differential. The VT game would have been rough for you ...
