Shot selection continues to be poor. Why does Francis have to shoot a 3 on every fast break. I get it on occasion, but not EVERY time. And Matt Grace shot 21% from 3 last year. Why is he taking a contested 3 early in the shot clock? I hope he doesn't have the green light whenever he wants to jack one up.

Some questionable shots, yes, but we still managed to shoot 54% for the half.

It seems like because we are a veteran team, we take a few more chances in the first half sometimes and see how things go. I don't like Grace shooting threes in the first half at all, but if he's going to do it, the first half of a home game against Wofford isn't the worst time. Same with that three from Blake. Dumb shot given that there were three defenders and none of our guys waiting for the rebound, but he'll also make some like that.

Now let's tighten the screws and put them away early in the second half.

It doesn't take us long to go from up 4 to up 12 against a team like this. They were hanging around because we were being sloppy on offense and they were making more threes than they can sustain for an entire game. Thirteen minutes left and that has changed.

Burton is really struggling on defense. Got benched early in half for gambling and now he just looks lost on defense. Doesn’t know where to go on rotations etc.

more generally, as far to often, we are giving up a ton of offensive rebounds and that’s what’s keeping them in.

Struggling on defense generally and especially without Gus out there. And offensively I don’t like going to Cato so much. We get stagnant when he gets it. Should be going to Golden down there because he is much better passer out of that spot.
