Chippy game, but Spiders leading comfortably. Jumped out to 7–2 lead after one, but Mercer figured out how to play some defense and the second quarter was scoreless until each team got a late goal to send it to the half at 8–3.

Spiders dominating in most facets, particularly at the X. Their excellent X man is out for some reason. He played yesterday against VMI but I didn’t see why he’s out today.

Quick 5-goal spurt for the Spiders coming out of the half. Mercer got some momentum late I. The quarter, but the Spiders sprinkled in enough of their own to maintain a comfortable lead, including a fast break goal at the buzzer. 16–7 good guys heading into the fourth, so the Spiders will probably let up a bit and mix some other guys into the rotation.

Spiders roll, 21-8. Lanchbury ties his own SoCon record I believe with 12 points…five goals, seven assists.

Mercer apparently sat a few of their top guys because of the back-to-back.

Good observation…yes! McMillan-Pazdan-Smith.

BCWH was also involved with Robins, but McMillan worked on both projects.

Beautiful stadium - what a lacrosse game! Lanchbury, otherwise known as "Launchbury" to the Mercer announcer, was lighting it up! Team played well. Great game. Kept the SoCon momentum going.....................

Understatement,at best.Mercer committed 5 major penalties in the 1st half. Some very dangerous,cheap shots.Chemotti was hot at halftime and was having serious discussions with the
refs.It’s Georgia however...

These clowns attempted to have their Attack try to take our goalie out early by lunging hard into Rusbuldt early in the game.

Mercer proceeded to have 3 majors in the 4th.These were dangerous ,cheap shots as well.

When your getting your asses kicked as Mercer was and the opposition showing no mercy,Coach turned it up.
UR played 31 players today,a few scoring their 1st time UR goals.Talented,eager subs pounded these WWE punks.

SoCon officials should review game film and send off a note to Mercer coach and AD telling him that some of his players play like undisciplined thugs.
